File a DMCA Counter-Notice

Use this page if you believe your content was removed because of mistake or misidentification.

A DMCA counter-notice is a formal legal response. Send the completed counter-notice to connections@dating-universe.com with the subject line "DMCA Counter-Notice".

What to include

Your counter-notice must give Connections enough information to identify the removed content, contact you, and process the statutory counter-notice procedure.

  • Your physical or electronic signature.
  • Identification of the material removed and where it appeared before removal.
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the content was removed by mistake or misidentification.
  • Your name, address, phone number, and email address.
  • Consent to jurisdiction of the appropriate federal district court, where applicable.
  • A statement that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

What happens next

If the counter-notice is valid, Connections may forward it to the original complainant. The content may be restored after the statutory waiting period unless the complainant tells us they have filed a court action.

Counter-notices are legal documents. If you are unsure, consider getting independent legal advice before submitting one.
